As COVID continues to be present in our community, we ask anyone who is feeling unwell to stay home. Wearing a mask is an individual decision.
Our monthly get togethers are held at the Pleasantview Community Hall (10860 – 57 Avenue NW). We meet on the first Thursday of each month [check the calendar to be sure] from September to June. Guests and visitors are welcome. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with a short business meeting starting at 10:30am. The remainder of the time, until 3:00pm, allows the members to shop for wool and other hooking needs, check out library books, use the guild cutter, enjoy a showing of new works, and to learn or collaborate with other members.
Evening Hook-ins... Every second and fourth Thursday evening (7:00-9:00pm) at the Focus on Fibre Art Association [FFAA] location 10554 – 110 St NW. (back alley entrance), there's a casual get-together of those interested in hooking. Everyone is welcome... visitors, members, those wishing to learn or just see what the buzz is. We get together for an evening of collaboration, discussion, and hooking. Evening hook-ins are open to all including Edmonton Rug Hooking Guild [ERHG] or Focus on Fibre Art Association [FFAA] members.
